As your postpartum doula I help your family ease into the adjustment of bringing home a new baby. Services include:

Education, companionship and nonjudgmental support during the postpartum period to help you transition with your growing family
Assist with newborn care (techniques for soothing cranky and tired babies), breastfeeding support and education, family adjustment (taking care of baby while you rest or shower, taking care of older siblings), run errands, accompany you to doctor's appointments, meal preparation and light household tidying, and baby-wearing assistance.
Evidence-based information on infant feeding, emotional and physical recovery from childbirth, infant soothing and coping skills for new parents making referrals when necessary.

Visits are $100 for up to two hours and $40 an hour after that.
